Team Germany 2017

We are six technology-interested and open-minded students who will represent Germany at the FIRST Global Challenge 2017 in Washington. Our school, the Königin-Katharina-Stift, is located in Stuttgart, a city in the south-west of Germany famous for its mechanical industry.
Our experiences with robotics date back to fifth grade, when we first participated in the FLL, and we are still an active team in the FTC. These years of experience made us grow as a team and today we are coaching our own robotics club for younger students from 5th to 8th grade who, with our help, participate in STEM competitions like the FLL and the WRO.
So far, we have participated in competitions in Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, Italy and the US, but FIRST Global certainly is the biggest and most international competition in our robotics career. This is why we are not only excited about the technological challenge but also about the international character and the opportunity to meet like-minded people from all over the world.
We are now looking forward to a great, interesting and amazing competition in Washington, D.C., and want to say thank you for this unique opportunity!
