Team Pakistan 2019 🇵🇰

Pakistan is one of the many countries in this world that are impoverished. The acronym ‘STEM’ means nothing to the majority of the populace. It is truly a tragic reality that so many people never get to explore a field simply because they lack the knowledge that it even exists in the first place. That tragic reality is something that we are here to amend. We, Team Pakistan, are gearing up to attend the 2019 FIRST Global Challenge for the first time ever and our primary objective is to spread awareness about STEM in our country. We hope to meet you all!

Our team consists of people hailing from a myriad of backgrounds and ages. This is because our team believes that anyone and everyone can come together, build a team, and spread the gift of knowledge. The youngest member is 14 and the eldest is 18. Each of us has trudged through school life and looked for all kinds of opportunities to discover and enrich our own STEM skills as well as spread awareness.

We have Sharjeel Imtiaz, our beloved mentor who approached us and taught us everything from scratch. Then there’s Zohair, the youngest member of our team who is always itching to learn and apply himself in new areas. After him, we have Ayan, who has a plethora of experience with robotics already and is keen to share his knowledge with others. Then we have Ussaid, Arsalan and Anusha, all high schoolers, who have displayed a passion to step outside their comfort zones.

Team Pakistan is already engaged in preparations and is ready to meet you all in Dubai! Best of Luck!
