Team Belarus 2019 🇧🇾

Hi! We are team Belarus “Robo4U” – group of creative and smart students gathered by a common passion for robotics, programming, and engineering: Eugene Hovor – the captain and decision maker of our team; Max Shpileuski and Sam Aleksin – talented engineers, coming up with original ideas; Sasha Kulsha and Temathy Latushko – software engineers, programming whatever Max and Sam build; Alexander Frantskevich – our mature wise mentor. Everyone in our team is extremely excited to be a part of such an amazing event as the 2019 FIRST Global Challenge in Dubai.

In our days, the global community is faced with plenty of crucial environmental issues, including the ocean pollution problem, which we are highly affected by, even though Belarus is an inland country. Taking part in the 2019 FIRST Global Challenge is a great way to contribute to solving this problem with other teams from all over the world. We strongly believe that the key point in a solution of these kinds of issues is deep cooperation.

Our team has wide experience in the field of robotics: some members of our team participated in FGC in 2017 and 2018, took part in the World Robot Olympiad, and also local competitions in Belarus. One member of our team got a special presidential scholarship for outstanding results in robotics.

Our team is looking forward to coming to Dubai, meeting like-minded, dedicated people, exchanging experience with other national teams, and feeling the amazing atmosphere of the 2019 FIRST Global Challenge.
