We’ve been participating the last two years in the FIRST Global Challenge, but for a long time we’ve been wanting to share this wonderful opportunity with new people and help inform people about the importance of STEM, youth, and education. We’ve expanded our team this year to include new members who are extremely excited to partake in this competition and this gathering.

Initially, very few members of our team had prior experience in competitive robotics, but thanks to FIRST we’ve managed to get acquainted with the field and made huge progress. Robotics is now a big part of our lives and we owe everything to FIRST, our sponsors, and those who have helped us along the way.

Belgium, unlike other countries, does not have a huge robotics network and community, but we believe that with help of our sponsors and everyone involved, we can change that and start up a new Belgian generation allowing the youth to start getting into robotics much more easily at a much younger age, instead of waiting until college.
