Team Costa Rica 2019 🇨🇷

Twelve years ago the Public Library of Limon created an agreement with the Embassy of the United States of America in San Jose, Costa Rica, which resulted in the “American Corner”. It is an alliance between the Public Affairs section of this Embassy.

In 2015 the Maker Space was inaugurated within the program of the American Corner, where Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics programs are promoted. In our Maker Space children, youth, adults and seniors learn formally and informally through the impulse of information literacy and training for the use of technological resources that this space has.

One of our goals at the Robotic Club is to inspire the spirit of unity and mutual cooperation for the resolution of conflicts in our communities through STEAM.

This year the Costa Rican team is represented by five young people, students from high school with excellent grades and enthusiasm who are willing to learn and share during this 2019 FIRST Global Challenge in Dubai and after.
