Team Namibia 2019 🇳🇦

GIOVANNI GARISEB
Giovanni Gariseb is a Grade 11 student and a member of the Learners’ Representative Council (LRC) at Delta Secondary School, Windhoek, Namibia. He is 17 years old and enjoys reading books, especially Science Fiction, and watching Documentaries, and these have ignited his interest in robotics and science in general. Giovanni also drew his inspiration from Team Namibia 2018. He has programming skills and wishes to study Astronomy in any university of excellence and eventually work at a space agency such as NASA, ESA, SpaceX, etc. He has won several awards in Natural Science and Physical Science.

EUNIKE TSHUNGA MUTOTA
Eunike is 16 years old and a Grade 11 student at the Delta Secondary School, Windhoek, Namibia. Team Namibia 2018 have been sensitizing students’ interest in STEM and this has stirred up Eunike’s interest in Robotics. She has received a number of awards in Natural Science, Entrepreneurship and Geography. Eunike aspires to become a Paediatric Cardiologist. She loves travelling, music, and playing guitar.

DENNIS DE ABREU
Dennis de Abreu is a Grade 11 student at Delta Secondary School, Windhoek, Namibia. At a much younger age, he worked with his cousin who owned a toy business outfit to fix and experiment with robotic toys. Through this exposure, he developed interest in robotics. Dennis wants to become an aeronautical engineer in the future, as well as specialise in Mechatronics. Dennis has competed in a number of science fairs.

NOLAN NDOKOSHO
Nolan Ndokosho is 17 years old and a Grade 11 student at the Delta Secondary School, Windhoek, Namibia. He has strength in Physics and enjoys design and technology. Nolan would like to be an Architect or a Mechanical Engineer.

AZOR HIJARUNGURU
Azor Hijarunguru is in Grade 11 at Delta Secondary School, Windhoek, Namibia. He is in love with technology and became interested in robotics when he saw a demonstration at his local school. Azor would like to be an Engineer, although, he is not yet certain about the aspect of engineering to specialise in.
