Team Niger 2019 🇳🇪

Niger is a very beautiful landlocked country in West Africa, named after The Niger River, the third longest river in Africa. It is home to the last giraffes of the region. People in Niger are well known to be very warm and welcoming. Come visit!

The Niger Team for the 2019 FIRST Global Challenge is determined to proudly represent the country at this great robotics competition in Dubai and hopes to win first place among all nations.

The team members are (right to left):

Amina MOUTARI SOULEY:
A 12th grade Sciences & Mathematics student at Lycée Mariama of Niamey, Amina is passionate about science and technology. She would like to continue her studies in architecture.

Hindatou SANOUSSI HAROUNA “Winnie”:
Winnie is a 12th grade Mathematics & Physics student at Lycée Korombé of Niamey (this is the oldest high school in the country!). She plans to attend a medical school later.

Anna MAMANE OUSMANE AMINA:
Anna is the Captain of the Niger Robotics Team for the 2019 FIRST Global Challenge, and an 11th grade student at Lycée La Fontaine of Niamey. She is passionate about Programming. She recently ranked first at the robotics competition organized by @lgobot Niger.

Mahamadou Moudjahid MAHAMADOU NOUROUDINI:
A 12th grade Mathematics and Physics student at Lycée d’Excellence of Niamey, Moudjahid is passionate about Mechatronics and wants to continue studies in the field of Technology. He enjoys coding in Python.

Iman LASSAN:
Iman is an 11th grade student at Lycée La Fontaine of Niamey. She is also passionate about science and would like to continue her studies in Architecture as Mina.

Daouda HAMADOU:
Daouda is the Team Manager. He is the CEO of NOVATECH, a digital company in Niger that develops IT solutions for Agriculture. He is a laureate of the US program, the Young African Leader Initiative (YALI). Daouda is very interested in Connected Objects.

Benjamin RAYBAUD:
Benjamin teaches Mathematics and Computer Science at La Fontaine High School (LAF) of Niamey. He is also the coordinator of @lgoBot Niger, a computer science and robotics project in Niger. It’s been growing in partnership with ANSI (National Agency for Society of Information) and Ministry of Education since September 2018. Benjamin is one of the Technical Coaches of Team Niger for the FIRST Global Challenge. Volunteer.
