Sucre team won first place in robotics tournament

The team called Interconectados won the first place of the First National Robotics Tournament held last Sunday in Sucre, with the participation of 13 other teams from different parts of the country.

The new champions are Brayan Durán Toconas (native of Tupiza-Potosí), Eduardo Vargas and Piter Santa Cruz, both from the capital of Chuquisaca, who scored more than the rest in the development of software and hardware and the assembly of their minirobot, with the who overcame the challenges imposed by the organizers.

Said Perez reported that the three best teams were interviewed via teleconference by the jury from the United States, which described variables such as motivation, communication skills and teamwork.

The winners will represent the country in August at the FIRST Global 2018 robotics world, to be held in Mexico City.
