Given that Venezuela is mostly an oil-based economy, studies in engineering and technology development are crucial to Venezuelans in the region. These high school students from Colegio Ruben Suarez Valera want to become experts in electricity and robotics and join the dozens of bright young minds around the world who have already contributed greatly to technology development.

They believe that their “commitment goes beyond winning, this is a message for all Venezuelans who have left the country looking for better opportunities, and thus demonstrate that in Venezuela still has talent, we are a land of struggling people and we do not give up so easy, because we are the future”.
