Team Malaysia 2019 🇲🇾

Malaysia is located in South East Asia and is known for lively cities, delicious food, beautiful beaches, idyllic islands, and national parks with wildlife-packed rainforests. We are proud to be the only place where all the colours, flavours, sounds and sights of Asia come together. Nowhere is there such exciting diversity of cultures, festivals, traditions and customs offering a myriad of experiences.

Team Malaysia consists of five young gentlemen from an all-boy fully residential school called Sekolah Sultan Alam Shah and is located in Putrajaya, Malaysia. We are the National Champion at the 2019 Malaysia FIRST Global Challenge, a competition organised by Roboticist Sdn Bhd to select the best team to represent the country at the 2019 FIRST Global Challenge.

Our team members are Muhammad Danish Haikal, Muhammad Ridhwan, Muhammad Danish Qayyim, Muhammad Aiman and Mohamad Eiril Daniyal. Our teacher advisor is Mr. Mohd Khalis Bin Khalid. Our team leader is Miss Nabila Kamaruzaman and technical mentor is Miss Nur Nadirah.

We are honoured to be representing our beloved country Malaysia and are thrilled to be competing against other nation’s best teams. It is important for us to set a high standard in our preparations as we wish to inspire more young Malaysians to take part in S.T.E.M (science, technology, engineering & mathematics) and robotics field. We wish to become a role model to other youth and to encourage more Malaysian youth to develop skills such as in robotics and programming to achieve Malaysia vision to become a high income nation filled with skilled workers by the year 2030.

We are wearing a costume of the Malay Warrior known as “Pahlawan Melayu” with a background of kris better known as “keris”, a double edged dagger, an object of reverence and respect. We bring the spirit of a warrior to give the best for the country but will also treat others with utmost respect and gracious. Demi Malaysia. For you Malaysia!
