Team Malaysia 2020 🇲🇾

Malaysia has successfully sent teams to represent the country since FIRST Global was launched in 2017. As in previous years, a national selection was held to identify the best team to represent Malaysia. Robotics Learning (M) Sdn Bhd and Roboticist as the local organiser to FIRST Global in Malaysia hosted a virtual competition called the 2020 Malaysia FIRST Global Challenge Virtual Competition. The competition was endorsed and supported by the Ministry of Education Malaysia. 

This year, Robotics Learning decided to combined two teams with the most accumulated points to represent Malaysia. The two teams consist of two schools called the SM Sains Hulu Terengganu from the state of Terengganu and SMK Tunku Besar Burhanuddin Seri Menanti from the state of Negeri Sembilan in Malaysia. Both schools are located in the rural part of Malaysia. 

Team Malaysia comprises of ten boys age between 16 to 17 years old. The team meets up virtually to discuss all challenges posted by FIRST Global and works dedicatedly to complete all the tasks given. Team Malaysia 2020 wish to inspire youth especially in the rural area to develop their skills and knowledge in the field of science and technology. They believe that anyone can be successful if they are dedicated and passionate. Malaysia Boleh!
