Mexico City World Robotics ‘Global Challenge’ Ready

The young Mexicans Angel Berdeja, Jorge Garcia, Herman Sanchez, Santiago García and Frida Sosa were reported ready to participate in the Energy Impact competition at the FIRST Global Challenge 2018 Robotics World Championship, which will be held in CdMx.

Around 1,300 young people between 14 and 18 years old, from more than 180 countries, will participate in this scheduled competition from August 16 to 18 at the Mexico City Arena, to solve energy efficiency problems with robots created by them.

This annual robotic competition for young people from around the world is organized by FIRST Global, an organization that focuses on promoting science, technology, engineering and mathematics, according to a statement from the promoters of the event.
