16 Jul They will represent Mexico in the Robotics World Cup
Translated from Spanish.
We present to you the promising young people who will represent the country in the FIRST Global Challenge 2018.
FIRST Global is an international organization that is focused on promoting science, technology and collaboration to improve the environment.
For this reason, the FIRST Global Challenge is held annually, a robotics competition in which high schools and high school students from all over the world participate.
This year FIRST Global has chosen Mexico as the venue for the competition, which will be held from August 16 to 18 at the Mexico City Arena, and in which more than 180 countries will participate.
The members of the Mexican team are ready to succeed during the event. Ángel Berdeja, Jorge García, Herman Sánchez, Santiago García and Frida Sosa, will be responsible for putting the name of Mexico on high.
The dynamics during the competition will be as follows: Each team receives a standard kit of parts (with the same number and type of pieces), with it they must build a robot that has the capacity to run power plants, generate renewable energy and develop a transmission network in the most efficient way.
The young people who represent Mexico already have experience, as they have participated in national robotics competitions, and will seek to reach the final during the FIRST Global Challenge 2018, which will bring together more than 1,000 young people. We wish you much success!
