Alexandria, VA - La segunda FIRST<\/i> Global Challenge\u00a0 <\/span>- una competici\u00f3n rob\u00f3tica de estilo ol\u00edmpico que atrajo en 2017 a delegaciones de innovadores en edad escolar de 157 naciones- tiene previsto volver a unir al mundo este agosto en Ciudad de M\u00e9xico.\u00a0 <\/span><\/b>Contribuir a que todas las naciones est\u00e9n representadas en Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, FIRST<\/i> Global (www.first.global<\/a>) lanza su Unir el mundo<\/i> Campa\u00f1a de becas (www.first.global\/unite<\/a>).<\/p>\n

Cada a\u00f1o, FIRST<\/i> Global invita a un equipo de estudiantes innovadores de cada pa\u00eds a representar a su naci\u00f3n en el FIRST<\/i> Desaf\u00edo Mundial en el que los equipos se colocan en alianzas de colaboraci\u00f3n cambiantes de tres equipos cada una para resolver un problema mundial acuciante. Utilizando los robots autoensamblados y dise\u00f1ados por cada equipo, cada alianza trabaja conjuntamente para resolver uno de los 14 Grandes Retos de la Ciencia y la Ingenier\u00eda a los que se enfrenta el mundo en la actualidad.\u00a0 <\/span>El desaf\u00edo de este a\u00f1o se titula \"Impacto energ\u00e9tico\" y equipos de Afganist\u00e1n a But\u00e1n, de Siria a Sud\u00e1n del Sur, de Israel a Ir\u00e1n y de los nativos americanos a los abor\u00edgenes australianos se alinear\u00e1n con otras dos naciones para alimentar centrales el\u00e9ctricas, activar fuentes de energ\u00eda renovables y construir una red de transmisi\u00f3n resistente para competir en las \"Olimpiadas\" de la rob\u00f3tica.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
