\"\"Nabil Dabouz es un hombre ocupado. Es un antiguo FIRST<\/em> participante global, estudiante de ingenier\u00eda de software en el Polit\u00e9cnico de Montreal y voluntaria de la FIRST<\/em> LEGO\u00ae League en Canad\u00e1. Antes de 2017, Nabil no ten\u00eda mucha experiencia con STEM. Particip\u00f3 en un campamento de verano donde conoci\u00f3 por primera vez la tecnolog\u00eda a trav\u00e9s de su Club de Tecnolog\u00eda de la Informaci\u00f3n. Poco despu\u00e9s representaba a Argelia en la FIRST<\/em> Desaf\u00edo global en Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

\"El FIRST<\/em> Global Challenge es una oportunidad incre\u00edble para que formemos parte de una comunidad global de j\u00f3venes l\u00edderes que trabajan juntos por un ma\u00f1ana mejor\", afirm\u00f3.<\/p>\n

El verano siguiente, mientras estaba de vacaciones en la universidad, Nabil fue al Centro STEAM de Argel que hasta entonces hab\u00eda sido su segundo hogar. All\u00ed le pidieron que hiciera la selecci\u00f3n para el equipo de 2018 y, en \u00faltima instancia, que se convirtiera en su mentor.<\/p>\n

El equipo obtuvo la medalla de plata del Premio Sofia Kovalevskaya de Trayectoria Internacional.<\/p>\n

En Ciudad de M\u00e9xico, el equipo gan\u00f3 la medalla de plata del Premio Sof\u00eda Kovalevskaya de Trayectoria Internacional.<\/p>\n

Nabil atribuye su \u00e9xito como mentor a las habilidades que adquiri\u00f3 con su participaci\u00f3n en 2017: no s\u00f3lo habilidades t\u00e9cnicas, sino tambi\u00e9n liderazgo, comunicaci\u00f3n, trabajo en equipo y pensamiento cr\u00edtico. Teniendo en cuenta el impacto que tuvo la FIRST<\/em> Global Challenge ha tenido en su vida, Nabil est\u00e1 decidido a seguir utilizando estas habilidades para ampliar el alcance de las oportunidades STEM a m\u00e1s estudiantes.<\/p>\n
