Este d\u00eda se conmemora el aniversario de la Ceremonia de Apertura del <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FIRST <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Global Challenge en Washington, D.C. - el momento en que el deporte de la rob\u00f3tica se hizo verdaderamente global.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Durante casi una d\u00e9cada, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">FIRST <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Global ha unido a j\u00f3venes de m\u00e1s de 190 pa\u00edses a trav\u00e9s del deporte de la rob\u00f3tica, capacitando a la pr\u00f3xima generaci\u00f3n para resolver los mayores retos del mundo a trav\u00e9s de STEM, la innovaci\u00f3n y el trabajo en equipo. En la declaraci\u00f3n del gobierno de Belice anunciando esta decisi\u00f3n, el Ministro de Juventud y Deporte del pa\u00eds escribi\u00f3: \"Al reconocer la rob\u00f3tica como deporte, Belice demuestra su compromiso con la innovaci\u00f3n y proporciona a los j\u00f3venes las herramientas que necesitan para triunfar en el siglo XXI.\"<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">S\u00f3lo siete meses despu\u00e9s, Indonesia se convirti\u00f3 en el segundo pa\u00eds del mundo en hacer esta declaraci\u00f3n despu\u00e9s de que el Comit\u00e9 de la Olimpiada Nacional reconociera la rob\u00f3tica como un deporte electr\u00f3nico.
