25 Juil Team Croatia 2019 🇭🇷
We are team CROATIA. We like robotics very much. Our robot soccer experience helped us in preparing for this challenge. During the last four years Darijan has taken part in many Robo Cup Challenges, in a Soccer Lightweight category. He won RoboCup Junior challenge in Laiptzig in 2016. and achieved the 4th place last year at world RCJ championship in Montreal. This year Pino, Jere, et Alan joined him and won the Austrian Open challenge in Innsbruck and Slovenia Open in Maribor. Josipa joined the team a few months ago. They are planning to take a part in other RCJ categories, not only in robot soccer.
Besides robotics, they also do different sports. Darijan often rides a bike, Jere plays basketball, Pino trains in waterpolo, Alan is very good swimmer with a couple of impressive wins, and Josipa is a track athlete and holds some Croatian records for the U20 category.
We are very excited to take part in this competition and we are looking forward to cooperating with other teams in the Ocean Opportunities challenge. We hope that the spirit of joined efforts will raise the level of our knowledge and enrich us by meeting other people and their culture. We wish that Ocean Opportunities challenge, as an amazing STEM promotion, will be a step forward to a better future.
