Team Solomon Islands 2019 🇸🇧

Team Solomon Islands is a team of novice young boys and girls with no prior experience in robotics. However they are all driven by one thing in common – passion. Passion to change, passion to improve and improvise, and passion for science and technology.

“We are a group of students who are inspired and want to create a ripple in younger school going students and wish to convince governments and decision makers to help make STEM a mainstream focus area in education. We believe that this will in long term help develop an enterprising population that are solution-oriented and understand the perils of irresponsible action towards sustenance.” – Team Solomon Islands

She wants to be an inspiration to girls around her and send them a message that there is a way where there is a will, and that girls must be part of solution to problems that our world faces.

Lisa is here to learn and contribute her knowledge to the team’s pursuits. She wants to prove that change is possible. She believes in large-scale change and that change begins with the self. Her dream to be an engineer has driven her to be part of the team.
