Team Estonia 2020 🇪🇪

The Estonian FGC team has members from four different schools – Tallinn Secondary School of Science, Tallinn Kristiine Gymnasium, Gustav Adolf Grammar School, Koeru High School and Rakke School. This means that the team members are over 100 km apart from each other. The team members knew each other from the FIRST® LEGO® League and Robotex competition, where they were competing with each other opposing teams, but this year we decided to form a FIRST Global Challenge team to represent Estonia.

The members of the Estonian team come from different schools and all have a long experience participating (as contestants and volunteers) in FIRST® LEGO® League and in Robotex International, but have never competed in the FIRST® Global Challenge. Most of the members of the team have coached teams for the FIRST® LEGO® League and/or FIRST® LEGO® League Jr. The team’s first physical meeting was in a bowling alley in the capital of Estonia – Tallinn.

All of the team members can play at least one instrument and practice competitive or folk dance. In their free time, the team members ride bikes, practice martial arts or wrestle.

The team members look forward to meeting new people with similar interests in different countries and learn what they can do to improve as people.
