Robotics is a sector of the future, according to FIRST Global and YUVA Mauritius. Three Mauritian teenagers have been selected to compete in an international robotics competition in Mexico City, Mexico next August.

Three Mauritian teenagers keen on robotics will fly to Mexico City, Mexico in August 2018. Anushree Luchooa of Droopnath Ramphul State College, Anaëlle Marie Dhunnoo of Lorette College in Port Louis, and Brendon Shane Rama-Naik of London College were selected from 228 students. These teenagers will represent Mauritius at the 2018 FIRST Global Challenge (FGC) International Robotics Competition. They are sponsored in Mauritius by the Youth United Voluntary Action (YUVA) Mauritius.
