Team Spain 2018

Team Spain is a 4 students team, members of the robotics group RoboCaspers from Barcelona.

As we always say, with passion and effort we went far beyond where we could imagine when we started. We were excited when participating at the first edition of FIRST Global Challenge, we are thrilled to have the chance to repeat the experience this second year.

Team members:

Arnau Soler (Captain and main builder)
He has being doing robotics since he was 12, and has participated in several robotics competition. He works at an academy of robotics and programming teaching kids (from 6 to 16 years old)

Francesc Martí (Main programmer)
He has been interested in robotics and technology since he was a kid, specially after he created a robotics team with a group of friends when they were 12 years old. He hopes that in the future he will be working in something related to programming and computer science.

Lucas Cajal (Driver and builder)
He has loved robotics and coding since he discovered them when he was 12, and in the future he would like to work in the machine learning field, as he sees it as the next big thing in human progress, not only as a way to develop new things but also as a tool to solve the old problems of humanity, like the ones exposed by the FIRST Global Competition.

Miquel Escobar (Main driver and programmer)
He has always enjoyed maths classes and he would like to study abroad for some time. He has worked as a handball referee and coach, and he loves building and programming smart home devices with his father.
