Team Virgin Islands (US) 2018

1- Georges Ne’kye Omar (Driver)
11th grade student at Charlotte Amalie High school St Thomas. I’m planning to become an electrical engineer after graduation, thus a competition like the FIRST Global Challenge is in my domain of interest. Building and programming robot is really interesting as it improves my engineering skills. I will be the driver of the team.

2- Jordina Pierre
I’m an 11th grade student at Charlotte Amalie High School where I’m taking calculus and physics classes. I’m planning to become a mechanical engineer after graduation. Building robot is just something going along with mechanic. I’m therefore improving my skills for a better future. On the team I will be a robot builder.

3- Martin Terrencia
I’m an 11th grade student at Charlotte Amalie High School St Thomas VI. Actually I’m taking a calculus class and plan to take AP Chemistry and AP calculus next year. After graduation I will continue with engineering studies precisely in electricity. A competition like the FIRST Global Challenge is a great opportunity for me to see what is awaiting me. I’m already able to power the robot and my role in the team will be to power and program the robot.
