It’s really amazing what being part of FIRST Global has done for us. Some of us didn’t see ourselves as building a robot or participating in STEM subjects, but after getting involved with the robotics team, we really liked it. It’s really nice to get to build a robot, to get to code, to have so many intelligent minds working together. It’s a good way of training young people and also showcasing that we’re not just ordinary but we also have minds that can do these kinds of things. Our team has become like a family and when we get together it is a place where we all belong.
