Team Bolivia 2019 🇧🇴

The FIRST Global 2019 Bolivia Team is made up of four brilliant young people from the city of La Paz, who won the 2nd National Robotics Tournament — Bolivia Robotics 2019 — from among more than 3000 participants from all parts of the country.

The team is composed of:
Marina Reinheimer Koizumi: She is the spokesperson of the team. Marina speaks Spanish, English, Japanese and Portuguese fluently and she is in charge of the team to design and plan the team’s strategy in each round of the tournament through her ability to communicate with people with different languages.

Geovanny Ghilmar Torrez Turumaya: He is the team captain and a young man very passionate about robotics ever since he was 6 years old. He currently works in his spare time on a prototype smart wheelchair to help people with limited mobility.

Nicolas James Sanchez Leyton: His hobby is robotics and debate contests. He wants to be a mechatronic engineer who can solve the country’s problems with technology.

Pablo Marcelo Pacheco Bohorquez: He studied in different cities of Bolivia, which allowed Pablo to know the diversity of our country. He is passionate about programming mobile applications and is a fundamental part of the team to design the robot software.

The Bolivia Team wishes to represent all Bolivian youth in Dubai very well, make many friends, and replicate all the experiences of FGC2019 in many more students in Bolivia upon return from the competition.
