Keith Brian ​is a form three student at Kanga School. He is a tech enthusiast, STEM activist and SDG advocate. His interests lie in the fields of robotics, Internet of Things, Automation, artificial intelligence, programming, web development & electronics. He comes from a society that experiences a lot of societal problems and this sparked his interest in innovation. He is driven by purpose towards developing projects for the future good of the community and acts as a game changers in addressing these problems. He aspires to pursue aeronautical engineering.His hobbies are coding, cycling, travelling, socializing & swimming and conducting research. His favorite quote comes from Mahatma Gandhi. “Y​ou must be the change you would wish to see in this world”.

Branice Kazira ​is a 15 year old passionate STEM lover. She is currently pursuing her secondary school education at Alliance Girls High School as a sophomore. She is an active Science Club member and has excelled in the Kenya Science and Engineering Fair. Together with her teammate, she developed Safari Fit which is an automated headlight dimmer designed to regulate brightness of vehicle headlights, thereby reducing cases of road accidents caused by discomfort on drivers eyesight while driving at night. Branice looks forward to applying the skills she will gain in robotics in her future as she plans to enrol Biomedical Engineering later in University. She enjoys playing football and writing. She aspires to be a biomedical engineer who will not only come up with life changing solutions but also become an inspiration to the younger generation and encourage them to keep on dreaming big. Her favourite quote is “There are no limits on what you can achieve in life, except the limits in your mind ” ~ Brian Tracy

Aisha Hamud, an ambitious 18 year old currently in her last year of high school at Agakhan Mombasa. She is a 2019 finalist in the Innovation Kenya Program. She has participated and achieved several awards in science fairs and contests including Young Scientists Kenya. Her interest is in technology and innovation and plans to pursue a degree in Engineering. She intends to use the acquired knowledge to bring about a positive impact in the society and make a significant difference in the world at large.Aisha is co-operative , easy to work with and loves to help people.She enjoys reading novels, meeting new people, photography and travelling.

Cindy Ndanu Felix is a highschool student at Machakos Girls’ High School. Her aspirations are piloting and aeronautical engineering. She loves to inspire young people and be a voice of change in Kenya and the world; and be the best she can be. Her favourite quote is “The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.” Her hobbies include singing, traveling and making new friends.

James Mwika is a student at Miathene boys’ high school. He dreams to pursue Mechatronics engineering at university level. In their school he is the chairman of the science club and he has participated in Kenya Science and Engineering Fair (KSEF). He also participated in the Young Scientist Kenya program (YSK). One of his biggest dreams is to create an innovative world in future. He enjoys playing football and solving mathematics. And always (Believe, Begin, Become).

Jimmy Paul Kimani is a 17 year old form three student at Chala secondary school Taita Taveta. He is the Chairman of the school KSEF/coding club. Jimmy is very passionate about science and plans to study mechatronics Engineering after school. Through his leadership the school emerged position one overall at the Taita Taveta county KSEF competitions in the years 2019 & 2020. He has participated in the Kenya science and engineering fair up to the National level (2019) where He presented an automated electric farm tractor project. Jimmy together with two other students from Chala have developed an automated hand wash machine and donated it to the local dispensary. He was also an Innovate Kenya finalist in 2019.

Raquelle Barasa is a 17 year old student at the Maryhill Girls’ High School. She is passionate about STEM and technology. She has participated in various STEM competitions and programs such as: The Kenya Science and Engineering Fair, Young Scientists Kenya, Little Engineer by Airbus, Junior Achievers and Global Minimum. She believes in the endless opportunities STEM has to offer and wants to make her community and the world a better place by use of STEM and advanced technology! Furthermore, she loves charity work and serving her community. She recently started an initiative with her friend known as Nano Initiative. It is aimed at helping children in care homes receive basic necessities and better their lives. In her spare time, she loves reading novels and outdoor activities.

Sharleen Paskalia Nyangate is a student at the university of Nairobi. Her dream is to become a data analyst. Her aspiration is to be among the Young Global Leaders who have continually contributed in the making of sustainable and impactful decisions with financial data and provided innovative solutions that matter. Her hobbies include cycling, hiking and traveling. Her favorite quote is; “ It is by walking that we make the road.”

Martin is passionate about STEM as a stepping stone for humanity to revolutionize life and make it bearable for every person. He would like to study bachelor of computer science in software engineering at the university. Martin has worked with a team to develop two projects. At first he worked on an interactive e-learning software. For this he was the front end designer and developer. His role was to work with the back end developer to create a suitable and user-friendly interface for the software. The second project was a voice controlled robotic hand. He worked as the designer and his role was to design the outward appearance of the arm and help assemble the circuit requirements for the arm to be user friendly and work efficiently.

Daniel Moenga Nyarangi is a Physics, Animation, IT and Programming enthusiast interested in the physics and computational structure of things. He enjoys using imparted scientific knowledge and computational skills to help solve society problems and create solutions with software. He self taught himself a variety of programming languages and can code in several programming languages, including Python, Java, C# and others. He is currently working on completing a long-term project of creating his first Android game to help create more creative ways for recreation when people are indoors during this Covid-19 Pandemic; it will soon be available in the Play Store.
