All-Girls Robotics Team to Partake in ‘FIRST Global Robotics Competition’

Ghana’s All-Girls Robotics team with support from STEMbees will be participating in the First Global Robotics Competition to be held in Mexico.

The competion will take off in August, with Ghana joining over 150 nations in the challenge entitled “Energy Impact”.

As part of the competition, each team will collaborate with two other nations to fuel power plants, activate renewable energy sources and fully construct and program a robot from a standardized kit of parts.

In a bid to ensure that the all-girls robotics team from Ghana get enough funding to partake in the competition, STEMbees held a cocktail fundraiser to support the girls.
