Antes de 2017, Nabil n\u00e3o tinha muita experi\u00eancia com STEM. Ele participou de um acampamento de ver\u00e3o onde conheceu a tecnologia por meio do Clube de Tecnologia da Informa\u00e7\u00e3o. Logo depois, ele estava representando a Arg\u00e9lia na Copa do Mundo de 2017 FIRST<\/em> Desafio Global em Washington, D.C.<\/p>\n

\"O FIRST<\/em> O Global Challenge \u00e9 uma oportunidade incr\u00edvel para fazermos parte de uma comunidade global de jovens l\u00edderes que trabalham juntos para um futuro melhor\", disse ele.<\/p>\n

No ver\u00e3o seguinte, durante as f\u00e9rias da universidade, Nabil foi para o Algiers STEAM Center, que antes era sua segunda casa. L\u00e1, ele foi convidado a fazer a sele\u00e7\u00e3o para a equipe de 2018 e, por fim, tornou-se seu mentor.<\/p>\n

A equipe ganhou a medalha de prata no Sofia Kovalevskaya Award for International Journey.<\/p>\n

Na Cidade do M\u00e9xico, a equipe ganhou a medalha de prata no Pr\u00eamio Sofia Kovalevskaya de Jornada Internacional.<\/p>\n

Nabil credita seu sucesso como mentor \u00e0s habilidades que adquiriu com sua participa\u00e7\u00e3o em 2017 - n\u00e3o apenas habilidades t\u00e9cnicas, mas tamb\u00e9m lideran\u00e7a, comunica\u00e7\u00e3o, trabalho em equipe e pensamento cr\u00edtico. Considerando o impacto que o FIRST<\/em> Global Challenge teve em sua vida, Nabil est\u00e1 determinado a continuar utilizando essas habilidades para ampliar o alcance das oportunidades STEM para mais alunos.<\/p>\n

E Nabil n\u00e3o \u00e9 o \u00fanico; v\u00e1rios outros participantes anteriores se tornaram mentores de equipes, incluindo estudantes de Botsuana, Madagascar, Chile e Tun\u00edsia.<\/p>\n
