I’m 18 years old, I will enter university next year. I really have a passion about Technology and Robots. I am in love with writing, Reading, Swimming, Volunteering, singing and playing oud. I participate in this competition to fulfill my passion and improve my skills like team work and brain storming.

Mohamed Zaid (Team Member)
Mohammed R. Zaid | 18 years old | senior High school | Team Captain and founder | TED Speaker | Instructor at Udemy | Youtuber and Programmer. I am so interested about robots because I think they are our chance to get a better, easier and more enjoyable life and a lot more. I am planning to study computer science and know more about control field to make the world a better place. I’ve worked as a Software and Hardware engineer for years, since I was 12 years old, and also as a programmer. I am always trying to invest my time in something useful, to improve myself and my community. I discovered lately that I love teaching because teaching gives me the opportunity to make a change in others.

Ayham Albaruni (Team Member)
My interest for robots grew from when I was a little kid, seeing something move that I built myself lights fire within me 🙂 My future goals are to be an astronaut and also have my own art gallery. My hobbies are writing, art, basketball, and lately, robots! Practically I don’t have free time, I tend to fill it up with writing/reading/drawing. I want you to know that I will not fail my team and would put all I can to help my team achieve first place.

Mohamed Breiky (Student Assistant)
Robotics now is the future! Realizing the aspects of its functionality will increase our skills of developing it furthermore. My goals in life are mainly I want to change the world’s view of my country and participate with anything I can; also, I want to help make the world a better place. I don’t have a specific hobby but I love to learn new things as much as I can. I love reading books about technology and economics. I want FIRST Global to know that I love learning about robots and I will do my best to help my team win and also I would love to participate in more projects that can help my country and the world.

Laila (Student Assistant)
I’m 15 years old. I’m interested in joining this team for the purpose of learning more about robot technology. I want to help my country from learning in this field and at the same time help my team win the competition. My goals in life are to graduate from law school and also work as a journalist. My hobbies are singing, reading books, and now, a growing passion for robotics.

Abdussalam Alajmi (Mentor)
Abdussalam A. A. Alajmi holds a Master Degree in Advanced Wireless Telecommunication from University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest, Romania. He received his Bachelor Degree in Electrical and Electronic Telecommunication Engineering from the Tripoli University, Libya in 2014. Abdussalam grew an interest in exploiting aerial robots and robotics in the Telecommunication field.
