2023 NEW TECHNOLOGY EXPERIENCE: ENERGY EVOLUTION

As our dependence on energy continues to grow, it becomes increasingly important to innovate the solutions that will ensure a cleaner and more equitable energy future around the world.

 

The 2023 FIRST Global Challenge New Technology Experience: Energy Evolution guides teams in learning about all types of renewable energy, including hydrogen technologies, and the steps to create a clean energy future. FIRST Global teams will research and develop their own solutions to advance the implementation of and improve access to renewable energy.

ENERGY EVOLUTION WINNERS

GOLD – Team Lebanon 🇱🇧

Team Lebanon's project focused on creating a solar and hydroponics farm for clean electricity, plant cultivation, and electrolysis for green hydrogen.

SILVER – Team Republic of Moldova 🇲🇩

Team Republic of Moldova's project focused on a water cooling system to improve the efficiency of solar panels.

BRONZE – Team Tunisia 🇹🇳

Team Tunisia's project focused on converting seagrass into biogas for cooking and fertilizer.
