Team Trinidad and Tobago consists of 5 young engineers from the country’s premiere boy’s school, Presentation College Chaguanas. United by their passion for robotics and their aspirations to fly their country’s flag proudly on the grand stage of the FIRST Global Challenge, Team TTO 2019 shows the potential to surpass their predecessors.

The team is led by Jibrail ‘Jibs’ Bhagwandass, whose intuition in engineering is matched only his ability to command the mutual respect of his teammates. At his side is Rainier Phillip, the team’s ‘go-to-guy’. Rain is always prepared to assist in any way, going above and beyond all expectations. When spirits are low, the team can always lean on the charismatic and talented Jared Mohansingh, prodigal programmer and clever driver. Spear heading the building efforts, Shavaz Khan is the team’s gifted mechanical engineer with a solution for every problem. Finally, the endearing Nirad Ramlal; the team’s expert driver and unofficial lovable mascot. This illustrious cast will complete their journey under the tutelage of their mentor, Vikash Marajh, who is lending his expertise to the team for the 3rd year.
