A Team Of CARICOM Youth Strike Gold At FIRST Global Robotics Competition

News Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Mon. Oct. 28, 2019: A team of 10 teens, aged 15-18, struck gold in Dubai for their country and the CARICOM region Sunday, making history.

The youth from the South American CARICOM nation of Guyana won the Albert Einstein gold medal for excellence at the FIRST Global robotics competition in Dubai. They beat out Tunisia and Germany’s representatives to claim the coveted top prize.
