Under the leadership of our esteemed President, the education system is making great strides. This allows schoolchildren to participate in international competitions and achieve great results. Students of Ashgabat’s 97th Specialized Secondary School regularly participate in the FIRST Global Challenge (FGC) Olympiad. Each year, 10-15 talented students are selected and a team is formed to participate in the international competition among schoolchildren and amateur youth. At the same time, this group also represents our country. The name of the group has a unique meaning and is called Oguz Robot.

The main purpose of the FGC International Olympiad is to test and compete with students from all over the world for robotics and other natural sciences. Another feature of the competition is that students are rewarded not only for their knowledge but also for their social skills and media skills.
