02 Nov Satellite team wins FIRST Global Challenge second place in ASEAN

Cambodia’s students participating in the FIRST Global Challenge 2021 ranked 22nd out of 160 countries and third place for Education in Phase 1 of the Solutions Challenge for their satellite project that garnered international recognition but the crème de la crème is that they ranked second in ASEAN.

The group of students from the E2STEM School of Preah Yukanthor High School successfully launched the cubesat satellite named COSMOS on September 26. It floated on a balloon for four hours and reached an altitude of 50 kilometres.
