26 Jul Times of India: Five Goan students to represent India in global robotics challenge

Panaji: Students from Goa will be representing the country to participate in the FIRST Global Challenge – an Olympics-style international robotics competition that is taking place in Singapore from October 7 to 10. The team selected to represent India this year at FGC 2023 comprises five students who belong to Team Legogoa, a community club that has been pursuing robotics from the past six years and possess skills like robot building, 3D designing and 3D printing. “It is going to be a big deal for us, participating in an international competition among all the other countries,” said Class X student at Kendriya Vidyalaya Bambolim, Apurva Katkar – the only girl in the team of five.
