10 Sep Guatemalan National Robotics Team stands out in world competition

Year after year the National Robotics Team is formed, a team of young people that represents Guatemala to compete at the international level. This year’s selection is made up of 20 members and currently 12 of them participate in the renowned world event the 2021 FIRST Global Challenge.

This important competition, which has an Olympic modality, has been in progress since last June 27 in a virtual way. Guatemala is currently among the top positions of 177 participating countries. So far it shares the 5th place and is the only country in Latin America that appears among the top 10 of the competition, along with countries such as Sudan, Australia and Japan.
