Nation’s pride! 5 underprivileged students create a Robot; to represent India in Switzerland

Mumbai: It is a proud moment for India as the country is all set to get represented by young talents in the Olympics of the Robotics World. Hailing from the city of dreams, Mumbai, five underprivileged students – Rohit Sathe, Pritam Thopate, Sumit Yadav, Paras Pawade and Nikhat Khan who are all between the age of 14 and 17 are all set to compete against different nations with their robot at the FIRST Global Challenge – the Olympics of the Robotics World. This competition will take place in Geneva, Switzerland from October 13 to 16, 2022. The students, of which four boys are part of the team, are hand-picked from Salaam Bombay Foundation.
