FIRST Global Team Angola is made of high school students namely Bernado Chioca (captain), Caliana Cristovao, Edson Manuel, Alfredo Carvalho, Albertino Imbi, Manuel Jackson Alberto and Joaquim Junior. We are pleased to have previous FIRST Global participants from Team Angola 2020 as our mentors.

Belmiro Lopes Ngola is a student of Instituto Medio Privado de Tecnologias (IMPTEL), 11th Class. I am a technical technology student in technology, I understand Electronics and Telecommunications, computer graphics and robotic programming. In my free time I sing, dance, program and sometimes play basketball. I really like drawings, both artistic and graphic, handmade and on the computer for 3D or even 2D rendering. I feel a lot of attraction and interest in artificial reality and augmented reality technologies, in the immersion of reality into the virtual, allowing new opportunities for the world in general.

Joaquim Júnior André João is an electronics and telecommunications student. I am 16 years old, I study in 11th Grade at the Telecommunications Institute (ITEL). I like to practice sports, mainly football. In my spare time I play soccer, I learn English, I have basics in digital and analog electronics, I am learning Arduino and JavaScript programming, and I have some knowledge in C programming language.

Alfredo Chiquete Carvalho. I’m 17 years old and I’m a student at IMPTEL in the electronics and telecommunications course in 11th grade. I’m a curious young man, I like above all to learn from others, I’m very interactive and kind of funny. As for my knowledge and skills, I have knowledge of English, I have knowledge of robotics (I took the robotics course), C programming language and Arduino. In my free time I play ball, listen to music, and watch series and movies.

Edson Manuel. I’m 17 years old, studying at IMPTEL, studying electronics and telecommunications. In my spare time I like watching movies, series, playing football and reading about technology. I’m good-humored, a good listener. I am fluent in the English language. I have knowledge of Arduino, I like to participate in debates and exchange ideas, whether in the academic forum, or related to technology. One of my goals is to make our country a better place in terms of technology, and I will do this with financial inclusion and technology.

Albertino Rodrigues Imbi. I’m 17 years old and I live in Viana in Vila Nova, with my mother. I’m a student of electronics and telecommunications at IMPTEL. I’m in 11th grade. In my free time I like to watch, sleep, create and think about technological projects. I like to work in a team, because I’m someone very interactive and I like to share ideas with others. I have knowledge of English, Arduino, robotics, computer networks. I have command of programming languages ​​such as: PHP, Java, Javascript, CSS, HTML and C++. I work as an assistant at the AROTEC robotics academy, helping to pass on knowledge about robotics and STEM to younger people in our country.

Caliana Letícia Tchandombenda Cristovão. I am a student of electronics and telecommunications at IPIL in 11th grade. I do engineering to improve the quality of life in my country somehow, because it is not easy to see what children go through and not be able to do anything. And I also do engineering for the better and show that women can do anything, because we grew up in a society in which women cannot do engineering because it is very difficult. So I will show that it is difficult, not impossible.

Manuel Jackson Alberto. I am 16 years old, I am a student of electronics and telecommunications at IMPTEL in 11th grade. I have basic courses in digital and analogue electronics, C and Arduino programming, also in English, I also took the management course. In my spare time I like to play musical instruments in church, like piano and drums, I’m also part of the theater group. I also really like playing football. I’m someone interactive, I’m someone very positive.

Bernado Chioca. I am 17 years old, I am a student of electronics and telecommunications at IPIL, 11th grade. I have same basic courses such as robotics, analogue and Digital electronics, C programming, and I am fluent in the English language.
