Team Canada 2021 🇨🇦

Team Canada are members of the FRC team 2626 EVOLUTION from Sherbrooke, Quebec and some of them also competed on the FTC level in team 17070 EVOLUTION. What makes our team so special is our involvement in our community. Each summer the students are offering a robotic camp to younger kids. They are always ready to help out at our school and they also offer a free robotic camp at our local youth center. Their work in the community has been recognized through FRC competition where they received the Engineering Inspiration award on many occasions. 2626 works hard on and off the field, in 2020, they were part of the winning alliance at the Sherbrooke Regional. EVOLUTION 2626 represented Canada at the first edition of the FIRST Global Challenge in 2017. The team had the honour of receiving the gold medal for the Dr. Mae Jemison Award for International Unity. Since 2017, team 2626 has been involved with Global STEM Corps and the team really believes in its mission. Four of our mentors were there in Washington in 2017, three as participants and one as the lead mentor, now they will share their experiences and passion with this year’s Team Canada.
