Team Gambia FGC 2021 is a unique team consisting of seven outstanding girls, all from the HackathonGirls, which is an organization that trains girls to go into the STEM field, and also in partnership with Gambia Participates, a youth-led civil society organization that focuses on enhancing transparency and accountability in the public sector. Backed by a powerful set of mentors from different areas, this all-girls team is ready to tackle all the challenges they will be facing. Though having their own personal schedules, they try their utmost best to meet both virtually and physically for this year’s competition to discuss important aspects of the challenge. They have skills in robotics, app and web development, coding etc.
