‘Wi likkle but wi tallawah’ is our mantra. Don’t take us lightly. We may be a small nation but we are strong and resilient, and we can do anything.

This collaboration converges 15 secondary school students from all across the island, forming a culturally diverse recipe to the future vision of Jamaica, and platter of innovators. Team Jamaica has been a part of FGC since the first year and emerged victorious with the Bronze Award for Technical Writing in 2019 – Dubai and one of The Outstanding Mentor Awards in 2018 – Mexico. Participating in STEM Programmes is the key to addressing pertinent and prevailing issues in our nation, and nothing is better than incorporating a fresh approach, by engaging with the ideas and efforts of the Jamaican Youth. Consequently, The modus operandi of the team is to make connections, learn along the journey, share along the journey, and help solve some of the challenges holding back Jamaica’s development.
