Team Japan 2021 🇯🇵

We are Team Japan, and we consist of 14 members: seven boys and seven girls. Although we represent a single country, our team’s diverse nature of nationalities (Japan, China, the Philippines, and Pakistan) makes us unique with creative ideas to channel and explore within. Team Japan is a combination of three subgroups, ShibuSat, SAKURA Tempesta, and AnDSKY.

ShibuSat is a team of four students from Shibuya Junior and Senior High School. This subgroup’s members all belong to their own school’s robotics team and have years of experience constructing and programming autonomous robots for both national and international competitions. Furthermore, the four have participated in other activities, including volunteer work, video production, Model United Nations, and the World Scholar’s Cup. The FIRST Global Challenge is an optimal opportunity for them to utilize their experience and knowledge of robotics.

SAKURA Tempesta is the third FRC team in Japan; they are a group of students who come from a range of schools. With a group of five, SAKURA Tempesta specializes in the designing and programming of large robots. They will demonstrate their abilities and sportsmanship through solution application, creation, and robotics.

Finally, AnD SKY is a team of five students from Edogawa Gakuen Toride High School. They have members who can speak Chinese, Urdu, and Malaysian in addition to Japanese and English. Because the group is the least experienced of the three teams, they will be mainly participating in the Solution Challenge.

Since each subgroup has different experiences and weaknesses, as Team Japan, we hope to cooperate with one another and make the best use of this opportunity to create a memorable competition for all of us.

 優勝するために精一杯頑張ります!
