Team Lithuania 2021 🇱🇹

Hi! We are team Lithuania. Our team members are students of various ages, all of them passionate about STEM subjects, let them introduce themselves:

My name is Adomas Chlebinskas, I am 16 years old. I have been interested in robotics since I was 12. I have participated in a lot of international and local robotics competitions. My top achievements are first and second places in LEGO sumo and a third place in mini sumo in Romania Infomatrix competition, also I made it to the quarterfinals in mini sumo in Robotex Tallinn.

My name is Ignas. I‘m 14 years old. From the early days I enjoyed playing with mechanisms, power cables; it was interesting to me how everything works in the world. I was interested in technology, I love to create. When I started 4th grade, I saw an advertisement on the school’s billboard. It said that the Robotics school was searching for students. I was very happy and of course I signed in. I studied here for one year and then I became a teacher, because lessons were too easy for me. And since then I work as a teacher and engineer at Robotics school. It’s a very great opportunity to work here, because every day I’m improving at engineering, programming and of course teaching and communicating with young kids.

I am Julius Augustaitis, I am 15 years old. Currently I am studying in Vilnius gymnasium of Jesuits. I have participated in FIRST® LEGO Leagues 4 years in a row. Also, I never miss an opportunity to participate in various hackathons and game jams. In my free time I code. I have been programming for 2 years.

My name is Aidas, I’m 17 years old. From a young age, I was interested in engineering. All the challenges that people overcame to reach their goals truly inspired me to try my hand at STEM subjects. With the help of my older brother, I participated in various LEGO robot competitions. Later I participated in game Jam events where I could learn a lot about 3D modeling and game design. The knowledge acquired helped a lot in 3D designing, which increased my engineering capabilities. Alongside game Jams, I also participated in “Hacker games” (Lithuanian event aimed at technology start-ups), where my team created various gadgets and programs to compete against other participants.

I am Matas Čiuželis, I am studying in Vilnius Lyceum. I’ve been interested in robotics, LEGO and physics since my childhood. I have participated in 3 international LEGO FLL competitions with my team “Lituanica X” and won first place in Vilnius in 2019. I also enjoy participating in hackathons. In the future I would like to study physics or engineering.
