27 Sep Team Mexico 2021 🇲🇽
Team Mexico 2021 is formed by members and mentors from Cerbotics 15600 for the third year in a row. From Torreón, Coahuila, Cerbotics 15600 started in 2018 founded by Cerbotics 4400. Our mission is to form young people interested in science, technology and mathematics as well as spreading the message of FIRST in which cooperation and commitment are the most important values to achieve our goal.
Throughout the seasons we have participated in different competitions, in which we have learned and improved over the years. We have participated in the 2018 and 2019 North Zone regionals, where in both we obtained the national pass for 2019 and 2020. In addition, we have had the opportunity to go to the Championship in the city of Houston in 2019 and participated in the selection of FGC and we became Team Mexico for two consecutive years. This year we had the opportunity to participate in the FTC Mexico Qualifier Remote 1 and 2, where we received the Inspire Award and the Control Award respectively, obtaining the national pass.
This is our third year representing Mexico in the FIRST Global Challenge. In 2019, 7 students from Cerbotics 4400 and FTC Cerbotics 15600, represented Mexico in the 2019 FIRST Global Challenge that took place in the city of Dubai, after months of hard work all the efforts resulted in the golden medal of the “Dr. Mae Jemison for International Unity”. Last year the entire team participated, with members from our FTC teams Cerbotics 15600 and Electric Gears 17755, who at the same time are part of Cerbotics 4400, all together as Team Mexico.
We are looking forward to the next months of competition, although we can’t be together right now, we will stay connected and work hard from home to play an excellent role this year.
