Team Namibia 2021 🇳🇦

We are the Genius Robotics Club!
Founded in 2019.
Located in the capital city of Namibia, Windhoek. All members reside in Windhoek.

We all have a shared passion for STEM and how it could benefit the growth of our nation. Namibia is an LEDC which is not experiencing the 4th industrial revolution to full extent. Technological development is definitely a priority in our motherland.

Most team members of Genius Robotics Club are working towards pursuing careers in Science, Technology, Mathematics and Engineering.

What FIRST Global has done for us throughout the years that Namibia has participated is revolutionary! The exposure to technology and being able to work with the kits has broadened our horizons a whole lot. We are a group of pioneering youngsters who strive to teach, learn and engage in STEM-related fields.

Our club was founded to manage the national team that attends the annual FIRST Global challenge. Currently, the club has five team members, eight mentors and two club members. We all have a great passion for STEM and the good it does for our communities. STEM is a great way to attain new skills such as creativity and critical thinking. We strive to use our skills and hopefully implement these skills into our communities. We all dream of a better Namibia! We dream to make robotics known and taken into account. We the GRC can contribute to the future of our motherland and its economic and educational development.
