After a long period where we truly were humbled by Covid-19, we are honored and grateful to once again have the opportunity to represent the Netherlands in this year’s FIRST Global Challenge.

There are some new students on the team and some team members are veterans from past year’s FIRST Global and FRC (FIRST Robotics Competition) adventures.

We feel that the good thing of this year’s Challenge is that there is something for every team member to be passionate about, even without an in-person competition.

Team Netherlands is composed of the youngest students of FIRST Robotics Competition team 5412, Impossible Robotics, with students from seven different schools located all over the northern part of the Netherlands. We don’t necessarily build the best robots, but we are a Community and Outreach team, spreading Inspiration and STEM. We are working on re-building our educational system and creating a strong European FIRST Community where creativity is celebrated.

We wish all FIRST Global teams the best of luck and don’t forget to have fun while inspiring the world.
