Hello everybody, we are Team Romania, and we are very excited to represent our country this year at the FIRST Global Challenge. Our team consists of members from two FTC teams, 15975 RobotX and 19047 RobotY, from the city of Hunedoara, located in the historical region of Transylvania. We are ten students with a burning determination to excel in the STEM field and help our community find solutions for significant problems. Among other activities that imply sustainability, education, and communication with the broader public, we also mentor three FLL teams to prepare the next generation for the future. For us, robotics is a way of life; it inspires us to seek higher goals, to work in a team, meet new people, find possibilities to learn as much as possible despite not being able to meet in person. In 2018, our older colleagues also represented Romania in this competition, this time, we want to follow in their footsteps and show the world that Romania is still a hub for STEM education and that with hard work you can achieve anything.
