The St. Kitts-Nevis Robotics team is one that is made up of seven aspiring, passionate youth with the inspiration to conquer challenges using Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics (STEAM). Ms. Patrina Perreira, our 16-year-old team captain as selected embodies the three C’s needed in order to effectively manage our team: Caring, Courageous and Consistent. She strives to push each member of the team to their absolute best to produce high quality results. The team also comprises of Nikita Chevoserov, our Engineers, are fervent and aimed towards combining tools to bring our ideas to life. Other members, Michael Shaw and Destiny Harvey, are tenacious and passionate about their roles as Programmers. There is also our Documenter and Tester, Tahiyat Chy, who is a resourceful asset to our team along with Angelique Liverpool who was given the role of PRO.

The team is also inclusive of skilled and experienced mentors that have participated in challenges in the previous years. These individuals possess the necessary skills essential to guide the upcoming team through all the challenges that they may face throughout the 2021 season. These individuals include, Zhavier Shaw, Jermellia Henry, Christina Cho, Brandon Powell, Vivisha Wattley, Ainka Saunders, Jervik Lapsley, Shaqueed Benjamin, Kareema Wilkinson, Shamar Pemberton, Sanjiv Suresh along with the guidance and coordination of Dr. Ricardo Neil.

With persistence and dedication our team aims towards being triumphant in this year’s challenge embodying the essence our federation’s motto, “Country Above Self”.
