Team Algeria 2022 🇩🇿

Our team is the fruit harvested from a long time spent working on learning in a group of 26 talented and resourceful students. We all had to go through a 2-week intensive training that ended it with a hackathon/competition. Our mentors evaluated our performance during the training, focusing on what we learnt, and the application of soft and technical skills whiles together. Only 12 students were selected to represent Algeria during FGC2022.

Our team consists of members who have significant motivation and a big set of skills, each one is striving to master a technical field like coding, to help the team later get the best result for the final FGC competition. This gathering opportunity helped us join forces by sharing and utilizing our knowledge, skills and ideas to have the best outputs and results. We still have months to spend together innovating, debating, and building strong team spirit that would help us express our wiliness to give the best for our country and the world once in Geneva.

For us, this competition is a great learning experience and also challenging experience (as the name suggests FIRST Global “Challenge”) and it is the best way to apply and develop what we learned and to put our soft skills to test and improving by multiple team building activities that will help us acquire a strong critical mind set, a correct format of giving feedback to other team members. Our aim is giving a beautiful image of our country, our youth and their potential to other people and nations that we would meet virtually or in person.

To sum it up, the FIRST Global Challenge is the perfect opportunity for us to meet new motivated students ready to spend time working together and on the same project, but also a learning experience for us on doing things right, figuring out how to have and maintain a healthy environment and how to support each other to innovate and improve our country.

Thank you to our supporters!
