Argentinian team for this year’s edition of FIRST Global Challenge comprises five electronics students from Roberto Rocca technical school, located in Campana, Buenos Aires.

We are Marcos (16 years-old), Nico (18 years-old), Emanuel (18 years-old), Mauricio (18 years-old) and Delfina (18 years-old).

Students:

Delfina: Hi! My name is Delfina, I’m 18 years old and I’m currently on the last year of secondary school. I want to be a biologist to change the world through science and technology. I’m really happy to be representing my country internationally and I think is our duty to inspire other students to work for their dreams. I want to go and try to make the most out of this experience and get to know people from all over the world.

Mauricio: Hello! My name is Mauricio, I’m 18 years old and I’m a last year student at Roberto Rocca technical school. My main interests and passions are electronics, programming, automation and domotics. My goal is to become an innovative person and a change-maker in the electronics field. I’m really happy I can take part in this team, in representation of my country. I believe this is a place where I can learn and be able to apply my knowledge as well as enjoy with this amazing team we created.

Marcos: Hi I’m Marcos and I’m 16 years old, I’m the youngest of the team. I want to learn from my teammates as much as I want to learn and enjoy on FGC. I’m very thankful for having the opportunity to participate, representing my country and inspiring other students to work hard and complete their goals.

Nico: Hello, my name is Nicolás but my friends call me Nico. I’m 18 years-old and I study electronics at Roberto Rocca technical school with my teammates. I’ve been very happy since we were told that we’re going to represent Argentina in the FGC because we are an excellent team and we’re having such a nice time preparing to compete together!

Emanuel: Hey! I’m Emanuel and I’m 18 years-old. I love robotics as much as Messi loves football and I’m representing Argentina which is a dream I had back from when I was a child. I’m excited to meet up with everyone and share this opportunity I have with all my colleagues to promote and encourage everything about robotics in Argentina.
