22 May Team Democratic Republic of the Congo 🇨🇩
“Zero Carbon”. A theme which comes to a moment where Africa in general and the DRC in particular are having tremendous growth in carbon emission. This is an opportunity for the youth participating to be an important asset in developing awareness about the dangers of carbon emission in the world and all its consequences.
The Central African forest is the “second most important green lung on the planet” with some 60% of its area located in the Democratic Republic of Congo. FGC will offer to the youth a platform and an opportunity to show the important roles each country can play when it comes to clearing the world from bad carbon emission.
Team DRC, represented by a selected number of young girls and boys from the Eastern part of the country (Bukavu) will be there to “Learn”, “Work”, “Have fun” and be the pioneers of STEM in their community one more time. Most of all, the team will get to understand a little more the importance of reducing CO2 emission, and all the positive impact that will bring to the world.
We are team Congo, and we are here to create a world with “Zero Carbon”.
Go DRC!
Thank you to our supporters!
